Amber Houston (left), with her cat Maddie, and Gabrielle Jones recently had a bake sale to raise money for the Metroplex Animal Coalition (MAC). Amber, 12, and Gabrielle, 11, both students at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School, baked cookies and cupcakes and set up a stand across from the Hampton Road DART station.
